He's specialized in Ancient Greek and Roman History and has authored multiple books illustrating how past events and people have shaped the world, including "Julius Caesar, the Colossus of Rome", "Before and After Alexander” and "The Battle of Marathon".

University of CambridgeDr. Kolbeck is a historian and author specialized in Roman imperialism and early Christianity. He has published widely on topics like the Roman army and Pontius Pilate. How often do trips depart, and when are dates available for booking?
We offer numerous departure dates throughout the year for almost all our itineraries, tailored to seasonal variations. Trip dates are typically available online 6 months in advance, allowing you to book early and potentially save on flight costs. Keep an eye on our website for the latest updates and plan your adventure ahead! If you're specifically interested in a coming soon trip don't forget to leave your email with us through the "Notify me" option and we'll email you once we have published the trip's details.
Are there any age restrictions for joining a group?
We welcome all who are keen to explore and understand world history. Typically, our travelers range between 30 and 60 years of age. Young adults are also encouraged to join our journeys if they are particularly passionate about the topic we explore. However, any traveler under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
How physically demanding are the trips?
Our trips offer a blend of intellectual stimulation and physical engagement. While the primary focus is on enriching your mind, your body will also be active with daily walks and visits to museums. You have the freedom to participate in activities to the extent that suits you, always balancing your needs and interests. Evenings are reserved for self-reflection and personal space, allowing you to absorb the day's experiences at your own pace. It's about finding the right balance for a fulfilling journey.

Are flights included in the trip price?
